Bentleys Toyota secures £2,000 grant for Priestley College Educational Fund.
The £2,000 contribution has come from the UK’s Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow scheme set up in 2012 to provide the dealer network with access to monies to support charities, schools and community initiatives.
Bentleys Toyota has this year selected Priestley Education Training Trust (PETT) which offers financial support to those students who need it to fulfil their potential and ambitions.
Rob Tam, General Sales Manager at Bentleys, went on to explain why PETT was chosen, “We, as a business, believe in this Educational Trust and the importance of providing our young people with the necessary skills for their future, which ultimately benefits the larger community. There should be no barriers to learning.”
Bentleys has forged strong links with Priestley College over the years and this latest initiative will see the two working closely together to deliver this positive and durable impact on the community.
Principal Matthew Grant commented, “We are delighted to receive this support from Bentleys and look forward to developing this business-educational link for the benefit of both our current and former students.”
